Heads Up Sport ("the App") is a tennis and pickleball league management application developed by ROM Technology. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

WordPress — backend data storage hosted on Bluehost servers in the United States

🎤 Voice & Microphone

The App includes an optional voice scoring feature powered by Vosk, an offline speech recognition engine.

Voice processing happens entirely on your device — audio is never uploaded to our servers
Microphone access is only active when you explicitly enable voice scoring
No voice recordings are stored anywhere

🗄️ Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Bluehost in the United States. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission between the App and our servers.

All API communications use TLS encryption
Passwords are never stored — we use email-based authentication
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers

✅ Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correct — update your profile information directly in the App
Delete — delete your account and data in-app or by emailing us
Opt out — disable push notifications, location access, or voice features at any time
Portability — request your match history data in a readable format

👶 Children's Privacy

Heads Up Sport is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
